- A natural latex layer that has the ability to support. It also provides your body with gentle cushioning.

Does it have a good cover?
The cover of this mattress is an interesting one. It’s made of Tencel, a material that has some great properties. For starters, Tencel is very breathable so this mattress will stay cool during the night. Secondly, Tencel is a material that is naturally anti-dustmite and anti-bacterial. That means that if you suffer from any allergies, this can be a great choice. Lastly, Tencel is a sustainable material as it’s made from wood pulp. For all these reasons, I think that the people at Origin chose wisely here.
The cover has a modern design and it features grey sides with a white top part. The sleeping surface feels soft and the mattress looks quite premium. The only problem here is that the cover is not removable so it’s not machine-washable. If you want to clean it, you should use a mild detergent and a wet cloth. Overall this is a high-quality cover that compliments this mattress.
How firm is the Origin Hybrid mattress?
It’s time now to continue with this Origin Hybrid mattress review and discuss its firmness. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.5 with 10 being really firm. I would like to talk now about my experience with it in the past two weeks.
Starting from the back position, the mattress felt very supportive and my weight was distributed evenly. My spinal alignment was correct and I felt very comfortable in this position.
Turning to the side position, the springs adjusted quickly and support remained good. My spine was aligned correctly and there was no discomfort in my hips area.
Finally, turning to the stomach position, the sleeping surface was firm enough to support my chest and hips. I felt that the Origin Hybrid was good for every sleeping position and this is hard to find.
Regarding the edge support, I would say it’s very good but this is expected from a mattress of this kind. If you share your bed with a partner, there is no motion transfer as this type of spring is designed to minimize this effect.
Does it come with free delivery?
One thing I really hate is paying for delivery. The good news is that Origin offers a free delivery service for West Malaysia. This usually takes 3 working days so you will receive your mattress in no time. As I have already mentioned, this is a boxed mattress so it will come packed inside a carton box.
I live in Kuala Lumpur and my mattress was delivered within 2 working days. The process was straightforward and I was informed via email and SMS about every step of the process. The box came in excellent condition and I managed to move it to my room with ease. However, this might be quite heavy for some people so definitely ask for help. Overall, I was happy with their service so no complaints at all.
Is there a way to try this at home?
Most people don’t feel comfortable buying a mattress online but Origin is here to change it all. When you buy a mattress from them, they will offer you a 120-night trial period that gives you 4 months to try this at home.
