Buying a mattress can be a daunting task as there are so many choices out there. In this Amazeam mattress review, I discuss this memory foam option that is designed for the Malaysian climate.
This is another boxed mattress and it’s made with high-quality memory foam. Amazeam sells directly to consumers so you will get better value for your money. I decided to order mine two weeks ago so I am ready now to write this review.
What is this mattress made of?
This mattress is made of 3 layers plus the cover. In detail, these are:

The Amazeam mattress measures 25.4cm in height so you should expect a medium profile. All foam layers come with the CertiPUR-US® certification that guarantees it’s free from harmful substances. How good is the cover?
When designing this cover, the engineers at Amazeam wanted to ensure that it combines functionality with practicality. For this reason, this cover consists of two parts. The upper one is made of a white soft part that has chilling properties. The bottom one is made of a 4D air mesh fabric that allows airflow. The latter is very important, especially for humid climates like the Malaysian one.
The good news is that this cover is removable and all you have to do is unzip it. You can then place it inside your washing machine for easy cleaning. This is very practical and it’s one of the main characteristics I look for before I buy a new mattress. At the bottom, they have placed an anti-slip surface that will keep it in place. Overall, this is a great cover that will impress you.
Is this a firm mattress?
It’s time now to continue with this Amazeam mattress review and talk about its feel. This is a mattress built to suit most sleepers so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.7 with 10 being really firm. I am ready now to talk about my experience with it for the past ten days.
Lying on my back, the mattress hugged my shoulders but I didn’t feel that I was sinking into it. My body was well-supported and my spinal alignment was neutral.
Turning to the side position, the mattress didn’t react as quickly as I would have liked but that was expected from a foam-only mattress. Sinkage increased and that helped my spine to align correctly. I was comfortable in this position and there was no discomfort in the hip area.
Finally, turning to the front position, the mattress wasn’t as firm as I would prefer and I felt that other options did a better job in this position. With that being said, this is a mattress that is better suited to back and side sleepers.
Another strength here is the minimal motion transfer which is expected from a mattress of this kind. That means that you won’t disturb your partner during sleep. Additionally, the edge support is average due to the lack of springs.
Will I pay for delivery?
Amazeam is a brand that values its customers so it offers free nationwide delivery. If you live in Klang Valley, you will get your mattress within 2 working days. For all the states in Peninsular Malaysia, the delivery time is between 2-4 working days. Finally, if you live in East Malaysia, your mattress will be shipped by ship freight so you will have to wait 2-3 weeks. I live in Kuala Lumpur so my mattress was delivered within 2 days. Communication was great and the box arrived in good condition. The mattress wasn’t too heavy so I was able to carry it to my bedroom. Overall, my experience was positive so no complaints at all.
Can I try it at home?
If you decide to buy an Amazeam mattress, you will get a 100-night trial period that gives you more than 3 months to try it and decide later whether you want to keep it or not. This makes it a risk-free purchase so you shouldn’t worry about potentially not liking this mattress. The return process is not a complicated one and all you have to do is contact their customer service department.
