If you have a tight budget and are looking for a high-quality option, you should read this Mlily Supreme mattress review. This is another boxed mattress from the popular maker and it’s a true value-for-money option.
After trying their Mlily Igloo mattress, I was curious to see what they did with this cheaper option. The difference here is that the Supreme mattress features a foam-only construction so don’t expect any springs. I received mine almost two weeks ago so let’s move now to the full review below.
What are the layers inside this mattress?
This mattress features 3 layers plus the cover. These are:
- A memory foam layer that has excellent pressure-relieving properties. This is infused with cooling gel to sleep cool.
- An Aeroflow foam layer that is the first support layer. It features an open-cell construction that allows it to breathe well.
- A high-resilient foam layer that is the foundation of this mattress.
The Mlily Supreme mattress measures 20cm in height so it has a relatively low profile. All foams used here come with the CertiPUR-US certification so they are free from harmful substances.
Does it come with a nice cover?
The cover of this mattress is made of a knit cooling fabric that is quite breathable. After all, this is what you need when living in a country like Malaysia. The cover feels soft and it doesn’t look cheap at all. It consists of two parts that are linked with a zipper. The cover is removable and machine-washable so it’s very easy to clean it whenever that is needed.
The design is a modern one with the top part being white and the bottom part being light grey. At the bottom, the people at Mlily have added a non-slip base that will keep this mattress in place. The only drawback here is the absence of side handles but I guess this is a way to cut costs. Overall, this is a functional cover that does the job.
Is this a firm mattress?
It’s time to continue writing this Mlily Supreme mattress review and discuss its feel. This is another boxed mattress so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.6 with 10 being really firm. I would like now to talk about the different sleeping positions and how this mattress performed.
Lying on my back, the mattress immediately hugged my back and shoulders but I didn’t feel that I was sinking into it. Support was great and I felt that the mattress handled my weight with ease.
Turning to the side position, the foam layers adjusted quickly and sinkage increased. My spinal alignment was neutral and there was no discomfort in the hip area.
Finally moving to the front position, the sleeping surface didn’t feel firm enough and I felt that my hips and shoulders were not well supported. This mattress is better suited to back and side sleepers so if you are a stomach one, maybe look elsewhere.
The good news is that due to its foam-only construction, this mattress has minimal motion transfer so you won’t disturb your partner during sleep. On the other hand, the edge support is average which is expected from a mattress of this kind.
Does it come with free delivery?
One of the best things about this mattress is that it comes with free nationwide delivery. For those living in West Malaysia, delivery times are short so you will get your mattress within 2-5 working days. On the other hand, residents of East Malaysia will have to wait a bit more (5-10 working days).
As I have mentioned earlier, this is a rolled mattress so it will arrive inside a carton box. This is not a heavy mattress so you will probably be able to move it by yourselves. Before you use it, make sure you give it some time to decompress. My experience with their delivery was great and the courier was super helpful. I was well informed about each step of the process and I was happy with the service I got.
Will I get a trial period?
Although this is a boxed mattress it doesn’t come with a trial period. This is definitely the biggest drawback here and hopefully, the people at Mlily will change that soon. That means that you cannot try this at home to see whether it’s a good match or not. After all, most other boxed mattresses give you this right so it’s a shame that it’s not offered here.
The good news is that you will get a 10-year warranty that covers you against defects of a structural or manufacturing nature. More details can be found on their page. Overall, this is not a complete package and there is definitely room for improvement.
How much will it cost me?

Is the Mlily Supreme a mattress to consider?
This is the question I need to answer before I complete this Mlily Supreme mattress review. In my view, this is a great option for anyone looking for:
- A cheap mattress that is good for back and side sleepers.
- A cooling mattress that has minimal motion transfer.
- A mattress that comes with a 10-year warranty.
If all of these sound good to you, the Mlily Supreme mattress should be high on your list. As I have mentioned before the lack of a trial period is a major drawback and it might be a problem for many customers. If it doesn’t bother you then you will get a cheap mattress that performs well.
