In this Nosda Cloud mattress review, I talk about this interesting option from a brand that is well-known in Malaysia. Founded back in 2017 by Aden and Corvina, Nosda promises to deliver affordable mattresses that are suitable for humid climates.
This is a foam-only mattress so you won’t find any springs. As expected these days, this is a boxed mattress so it will come packed inside a carton box. I decided to order mine a few weeks ago so it’s a good time now to move to full review below.
What’s inside this mattress?
The Nosda Cloud mattress is made of three layers plus the cover. These are:
- A natural latex layer that has the ability to regulate heat and humidity. Latex can also support and provide your body with pressure relief.
- A CloudCell foam layer that can eliminate pressure points. Moreover, it allows airflow and prevents heat retention.
- A support foam layer that is the base of this mattress. This is designed to distribute weight evenly.
This mattress measures just 20cm in height so it’s a low-profile one. In the picture below, you can see the position of every layer.
Does it feature a nice cover?
The short answer is yes. The Cloud mattress comes with a knitted fabric cover that feels and looks premium. It’s very breathable which is extremely important for a humid climate like the Malaysian one. The design is a modern one and it features a white top and a bright blue bottom. The good news is that this cover is removable and machine-washable. Make sure you follow the maker’s washing instructions and that you hang it to fully dry. Overall, this is a high-quality cover that will do the job.
How firm is the Nosda Cloud mattress?
I want to continue writing this Nosda Cloud mattress review and talk about its feel. This is built for the average sleeper so it comes with a medium-firm feel. If I use my virtual scale here, I would say it’s a 6.5 with 10 being really firm. It’s time now to talk about my experience with it for the past two weeks.
Starting from the back position, the Cloud mattress hugged my shoulders and I was well supported. There were no pressure points and I felt comfortable in this position.
Turning to the side position, the foam layers adjusted quickly and sinkage increased. This helped my spine to align correctly which is very important when sleeping on your side. Support remained good and there was no discomfort in the hip or shoulder areas.
Finally, moving to the stomach position, the sleeping surface didn’t feel firm enough to support my body weight. This is something I expected from this mattress so I would say that if you are a stomach sleeper, you better look elsewhere.
If you share your bed with a partner, this can be a great option as it has minimal motion transfer. That means that you won’t disturb each other. On the other hand, edge support is average but this is normal for a mattress with this architecture.
Do they offer free delivery?
If you decide to buy a Nosda mattress, you will get free delivery. This usually takes between 3-5 working days so you won’t wait long before you receive your order. Unlike other brands, Nosda offers free nationwide delivery and that is impressive. I live in Kuala Lumpur and my mattress was delivered within 3 days. The process was simple and the box came in excellent condition. The courier was prompt and overall, I was happy with their service.
Is there a trial period?
Many people think that buying a mattress online is a risky decision. The good news is that the people at Nosda are aware of that and for this reason, they offer a 100-night trial period. That means that you can try this at home for more than 3 months and decide later whether you want to keep it or not. If you change your mind, you can return it and get a full refund. The process is quite simple and you don’t need to keep the original packaging to be able to complete a return.
Moreover, the Nosda Cloud mattress comes with a 10-year warranty which is the standard for most boxed mattresses. This shows that they value their customers but they also trust their manufacturing process. Overall, this is a complete package so no complaints at all.
How much will I pay for it?
The Nosda Cloud mattress is available in 4 sizes so there are limited options for you to choose from. The smaller size sells for RM1,499 with the bigger one going for RM2,799. Having said that, the people at Nosda run frequent promotions so you will probably pay less than the retail price. Is the Nosda Cloud mattress a good buy?
This is a valid question and I will try to answer it before I complete this Nosda Cloud mattress review. In my opinion, this would be a great option for anyone looking for:
- A latex mattress that is great for the back and side position.
- An affordable mattress that is built with great materials.
- A mattress that comes with a 100-night trial period.
The Nosda Cloud mattress is a value-for-money option that can cover the needs of most people. It’s not the best mattress out there but if we consider the price here, it’s definitely a good option for back and side sleepers.
